If you order your fish ground, make sure you request 2 pounds of fish after grinding. This means you’ll likely have to purchase about 4 pounds.

Ingredients
2 lbs. each of pike and white fish
4 eggs
7 rounded tbs. matzoh meal
2 tbs salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/8 cup sugar
Directions
- Mix eggs, matzoh meal, salt, pepper and sugar.
- Next add fish and mix thoroughly.
- Make small patties or balls (per your preference) and add 2 at a time to a large pot of boiling water.
- Lower the heat and cook for 90 minutes.
- Let stand 5 minutes before draining.
- Serve after cooled on a bed of lettuce with horseradish.
