5 eggs, separated
5 yellow apples, peeled and grated large
1/2 cup sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
4 tablespoons potato starch
1/2 cup chopped nuts


  1. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  2. Beat egg yolks with remaining ingredients.
  3. Mix in apples and fold in egg whites.
  4. Bake in greased 8"x8" pan at 350 degrees (F) for 1 hour.
