Chicken Pot Pie

This is a favorite in my family. I make it every time I make chicken soup with the boiled chicken. This freezes beautifully.

Ingredients

2 cups boiled Chicken from Chicken Soup
2 cans Veg-All drained
2 cans Rokeach Condensed Mushroom Soup
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Thaw pie shells
  2. Take chicken from soup, remove skin and break into pieces
  3. Mix chicken with drained veg-all and mushroom soup
  4. Add salt and pepper and mix well
  5. Pour chicken into one pie shell, remove other pie shell from container and roll out. Place second pie shell over pie.
  6. Bake at 350 until pie crust golden brown, approximately 30 minutes.
  7. Note: if you freeze the pie when you cook it start change temperature to 375 and cook for approximately 1 hour, checking after 40 minutes to make sure it does not burn.
