American Sephardic Haroset Balls

These haroset balls are a great way to make sure everyone at the table gets haroset!

3 cups raisins
2 cups almonds, blanched
1/2 apple, peeled and cored
1/2 tsp. cinnamon


  1. Coarsely grind the raisins and 1 1/2 cups of the almonds.
  2. Add the apple and cinnamon continue grinding (use short quick pulses on food processor or grind by hand).
  3. Using your hands, press the mixture into 1/2 inch balls (the size of large marbles).
  4. Press an almond into each haroset ball.
  5. Serve in bowls at the table during Passover.
